This Happy Mother's Day card was fun to create as one of my favorite colors is purple.  Highland Heather in this case.  The FREE Saleabration DSP worked great on the 3D tulips.  It did take me some time to figure out the 17 piece die cut outs.  Had to watch a few videos to get the pieces of the tulips to look life like.  I hope you enjoy a good challenge like I do.  Mentioning of challenges, if you have never stamped ... I challenge you to try it at one of my stamp clubs.  I am always looking for a friend to join us.      

This is a pretty standard card layout.  The measurements are:

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 8.5" x 5.5" score at 4.25"

Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 4"  Emboss with the Hive Embossing Folder.

Tulip Bundle

Die cut several batches of the Flowering Tulips Bundle 157678 $52.00 (save 10% by purchasing as a bundle.  Page 16 of the mini catalog. By cutting several bunches it will give you many tulips that later you can arrange on cards.  As once you start creating the 3D tulips you will not be able to stop.

Use mini dimensionals to adhere the first piece of tulip to the base.  Use a glue dot to adhere the tulip bloom together.  Adhere regular dimensionals on to the back of the embossed layer.

Tie a bow with the evening evergreen windowpane check ribbon - 7" 

Stamp a sentiment of your choice on the front.  I choose Mother's Day! 

With the fine tip glue pen adhere the leaves and stem.

Another gorgeous happy tulip card.  Blushing pink card stock.  It made me think of a tulip in a flower pot.  Do you see it.  Would you change anything.
