It’s that time of year -Saleabration

 Hello! As we are enjoying the summer events, remember to make time for yourself!  Whether it’s a massage or an afternoon with girls. We all need nourishment. Let me give you some suggestions  

I often take time in the mornings that I’ve dedicated as quiet time. Our patio faces the east. So I can actually watch the sun walk up the sky! Each morning something varies. Often times I will post to my Tweet Be Happy Facebook page and group. This blog takes a back burner sometimes. Not today, it’s getting a new article. Hope you enjoy one or two items.

My three year old grandson loves to craft with me! He knows where his scissors are stored. And constantly amazes me with his little talks we have while stamping! Heart felt. Warms the soul.

He knows the tap tap method into the ink pad. The straight down and straight up method of stamp block and stamp. I’ve waited a very long time for crafting with my grandchildren. Let me tell you it’s heavenly. Even when we stamp off our paper or stamp double into an ink pad. Patience and spending time together is important to me (and them).

Speaking of Salebration here are a few cards I’ve created with the Free dies named Tree Lot Dies 159938 24 dies. Page 12 of the Saleabration catalog.  Easy to use dies with the Stampin’ Up! Cut and Emboss Machine.  I think this card turned out nice.

Since it’s water color month Card Club Members created a sunset/sunrise in the Peek a Boo Card. We used our water color brush and three ink pads. Can you guess the colors of ink? 

Always need Thank You cards. I mail about 20 a month! By having them made up; I’m normally prepared. Always decorate your envelope to coordinate with your handmade greeting card.

 

This is my version of a pretty camper using the insets from the Free Wonderful World 12x12 Designers Series Paper on page 14 of the July-August 2022 Salebration catalog. Everyone needs Orchid Oasis flowers on their camper! 

These dies cut intricately.  The trees are layered perfectly. Even the little garden sign that says Sending you a Paper Hug! Who would you mail this card to? How many do you need to make? Let’s get together and make them! I love to share my passion. 

This was the card I CASEd to make the camper Paper Hug card. I tell stampers, to recreate an inspiration. To begin with a picture or group of colors. After you have an idea, then have fun stamping! 

For now, this blog ends, only to take a break to play with the grandsons. I love their ages 2 and 3. They can entertain themselves. I’m only the referee occasionally.
